An easy step-by-step system.

Dr. Galoob will prescribe the NuDerm products designed for your skin type and condition, and will determine the proper course of action for you. An initial two week trial of the skin products is recommended by Dr. Galoob to determine your skin's sensitivity to the medication. During this time, adjustments in product usage may be coordinated with our office. After two weeks, and if there are no problems, a light facial peel is performed in our office. This is another test of your skin's ability to tolerate treatment and is the first in a series of peels accompanied by continuing use of the Obagi products.

As the treatment continues, you will experience three distinctive phases in the restoration of your skin health:

Reaction Phase: Out with the Old
During this initial correction and stimulation period, a new layer of healthier cells replaces your damaged top skin layer. Some peeling and flaking may occur.

Tolerance Phase: In with the New
The correction and stimulation continues and you will notice significant improvements in your skin almost every day. There is much less irritation and your skin has a smoother healthier feel and appearance.
